The Chef
Chef Tina Kuehn
Chef Tina Kuehn, previous owner of Kristina's, Kristina's Cafe 334, and K Restaurant, focuses on serving food with heart. Her restaurant, K Restaurant recently closed but was a Sioux Falls staple located in the East Bank neighborhood near Downtown Sioux Falls. She hosted special events, including monthly dinners, cooking classes, and corporate parties.
The Menu

GATHERING
-Fried mini pizzas with a roasted tomato, basil, cheese & olive oil
-Crostini with white bean puree, roasted peppers, salami & olives
-Mini melon spears with prosciutto
-With wine or NA pairing
FIRST COURSE
-Panzanella Salad-roasted zucchini, onion, fennel, yellow squash & tomato: tossed with garlic parmesan bread cubes & a balsamic dressing and served on a bed of greens
-With wine or NA pairing
SECOND COURSE
-Lemon Rosemary Chicken Skewer on a bed of warm farro with a light citrus sauce
THIRD COURSE
-Almafi Seafood Pasta made with mussels, clams, shrimp & white fish, all tossed in a fresh tomato wine sauce with scialatielli pasta
-With wine or NA pairing
FOURTH COURSE
-Lemon Tiramisu - layers of limoncello soaked cake and a lemon curd/mascarpone cheese filling; topped with fresh berries
The Location
Good Roots Farm & Gardens
The 40 acre farm is located in the beautiful Coteau des Prairie region of eastern South Dakota. They have a market garden, high tunnel greenhouse, small apple orchard and pastureland. The farm is surrounded on the east and north with 100 acres of a Conservation Reserve of pheasant and pollinator habitat with native grasses, forbs, and thousands of wild flowers owned by extended family. They value sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
